In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
